Art Thomya passed the audition to play a leading role "James Morgan" in a University of London musical production "A Different Kind of Truth".
The only Asian actor in the cast, Art has to sing, act, and dance live with a band together with other native English-speaking actors and singers. This musical play will be held at Music Department, Royal Holloway College.
The story started when a man was murdered in suburban London on the way back home one night. “James Morgan” was accused of committing a murder with a few witnesses. Surprisingly, his wife, “Alana” who accompanied him that night was also one of the witnesses who spoke to the jury that she saw James committing this crime. “James” insisted that he was innocent and not guilty. “Marcus”, who always had secret appointments with Alana was also accused of this murder. What is behind? Is everyone supposed to “tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth” in the court of justice? Will James be judged as “guilty” or “innocent”? Let’s prove it with your own eyes in “A Different Kind of Truth”, on stage this June 2002.
